Behold, my first Chanel purchase! 🙂 When I was younger, I never saw the appeal of Chanel bags (I thought they were “old-looking” :p) but now I am a convert! 🙂 so at the ripe old age of 30, I decided to splurge on 1 of their classic quilted bags. I figured that the CPW would make it worthwhile (that would be Cost Pew Wear :p) but, erm, I have not even used it once!!! LOL

Anyway, irregardless, they do come in the most marvellous- but not very sturdy- packagings 🙂 My camellia rose fell off the box and a 1st Chanel purchase is such a milestone that I didn’t want to just throw it away. So I decided to DIY it 🙂 I chose to make a hairpin but really you could do a corsage-bracelet (my original idea- the white looks great on gray ribbon!), brooch or anything really.

All you need is:

– clip (or ribbon depending on project you choose!)

– E6000

And if you don’t have the Chanel rose, any large fabric flower would do really 🙂

Dab some E6000 onto the back of the rose, press the hairpin firmly down then leave to dry.

Now all I need is a ticket to a beach somewhere 🙂 and a maxi dress :p
