The skull is a common motif in Alexander McQueen jewellery and this is actually my 2nd skull DIY. So if you really like the Alexander McQueen look, it may be a good idea to stock up on skull charms & beads 🙂 Swarovski does a mean- and pricey- skull crystal charm

So, the key to nailing this bracelet is the 2 lobster clasps & a chain with thick links. To summarise, you’ll need:

– 1 skull charm

– 2 lobster clasps

– 2 jump rings

– 1 thick chain long enough to go round your wrists- it’s quite hard to manipulate when the links get this large (not impossible but you’ll need to have strong pliers)- so if you can get the bead store to cut it for you, so much the better 🙂

– pliers

Step 1:

Use your pliers to open the jump ring, insert 1 lobster clasp and the skull through then close around 1 end link of the chain.

Step 2:

Open the 2nd jump ring, slip the 2nd lobster through and close firmly again.

Simple, eh? 🙂
