Now that it’s the last few days of summer and fall’s on its way, I decided to unpack my winter clothes today. And boy do I have quite a few pair of jeans! I guess that’s the 1 item I’m always looking for a better pair of- they’re usually too loose in the hips but too tight in the thighs (I have a guy’s figure 🙁 ) So far, the best fit for me is Armani Exchange and along the way to discovering that, I’ve accumulated quite a few other pairs. So I thought I’d look for some inspiration as to what to do with them 🙂
Christopher Kane x J Brand DIY
Christopher Kane’s one of those brands that screams DIY at me when I look at his clothes so I’m glad the lovely Alicia decided to do a DIY inspired by his collaboration with J Brand. To be honest, when I first saw the rhinestones, I wasn’t sure about the pattern but after seeing Alicia model it, it does look awesome! 🙂 Full tutorial on and photo credit to:
Song of Style distressed DIY
DIY’s getting so mainstream that even fashion bloggers like Aimee Song are featuring them on their blogs. To see how Aimee made this pair, visit: http://www.songofstyle.com/2015/06/diy-distressed-jeans.html Photo credit to the lovely Aimee of course!
To give the jeans even more personality, use a fabric pen and paint over the frayed bits. The bits of colour will make your jeans pop!
Love Aesthetics distressed jeans
Looks like we have another 3 new blogs featured in today’s round-up 🙂 I really like the take on distressed jeans here- these type of jeans are usually so expensive and I really don’t see the point in paying more than £50 for a pair. In fact, for jeans, the cheaper the better I say! Video tutorial and photo credit to http://love-aesthetics.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/video-diy-cracked-denim.html
