“I don’t believe in copying.” A friend surprised me when she said this the other day. As you know, I love following designer trends for inspiration, but I don’t think of it as copying. Copying, to me, is only when you fake a designer’s logo and put it on your products in the hope of selling it. What do you think? While you’re having a thought, check out my take on the best designer-inspired DIY tutorials out there 🙂

One of my hobbies is surfing the Net for new DIY blogs to follow so I try to source my DIY round-ups from as wide a selection of blogs as possible. Today, I’m happy to include a new blog- Stud & Pearls- in today’s round-up. Full Burberry trench tutorial and photo credit to: http://www.studs-and-pearls.com/2011/05/diy-studded-trench-coat.html11

Another new addition to this series is the amazing Swell Mayde blog- I’m loving her take on Oscar de la Renta’s embellished headband. Amazing photo by and complete instructions on: http://www.swellmayde.com/2013/04/diy-oscar-de-la-renta-inspired.html

Last but not least, not only a new addition to this series but also the first vlog DIY tutorial! There are some designers that you get tons of DIYs for, but this is 1 of the few that I’ve seen for Givenchy, and the only one I’ve come across for this pair of earrings.
