When I was younger, I was really self conscious about my large, “man hands” so I never wore rings. But these days, rings are the accessories I wear the most often- usually 5 of them all at once πŸ˜› Are my hands any smaller today? No (although they may appear relatively so since I’m now fatter :P) but I guess I’ve grown out of that insecurity. I mean, who stares at my hands besides me really?! (It’s like when you take photos- everyone’s idea of whether the photo is good is based on how much they like what they look like in it!)

So to add another ring to my collection, thisΒ DIY basically takes 1 step to make and the components are readily available online or at any craft shop.

What you’ll need:

  1. Pliers
  2. Jump ring
  3. Ring with hoop on end
  4. Any charm- I’ve chosen a long key charm as I think a bigger charm makes more of a statement

Open the jump ring with the pliers, slide the ring & charm on, then close the jump ring.
Ta-dah! So easy I’ve whipped up like 10 using different charms I have lying around and have now run out of ring bases πŸ˜›

If you use soft jump rings, you don’t even need pliers! U can open and close the rings with your fingers! πŸ™‚ That’s actually what I did πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by πŸ™‚
