What you need

  • Leather
  • Leather punch
  • Pliers
  • 2 earring backs
  • 2 jump rings

Step 1

Cut out a triangle from the leather. If you want your earrings symmetrical, use the first triangle as a template to cut the second. If not, free style both of them 🙂

Step 2

Use the punch to punch a hole at the top of each triangle (near the apex)

Step 3

Use the pliers to open the jump ring, and slide the leather as well as the earring back in. Close with the pliers.
Repeat with the remaining materials.

Note: make sure the leather is slid on the right way so that the right side (the yellow side) faces the front!

Great way to add a pop of colour to any of your earrings, from a simple stud to something more elaborate like these navy blue & gold daggers!
